AI for Everyone
A Beginner-Friendly Introduction
AI tools can write, generate images, and help with everyday tasks. But how do they work, where do they go wrong, and what should we check before trusting their results?
This book is for readers who want to explore those questions without a technical background. You do not need programming skills or advanced mathematics. Familiarity with everyday digital tools and an interest in the subject are enough.
What's inside?
The book contains 15 connected lessons, covering four areas:
- How the systems work: people, applications, and models; how large language models are trained; and why fluent answers can still be wrong.
- Informed use: communicating clearly, working with context and sources, privacy, security, tools, agents, and model selection.
- Beyond text: the possibilities and limits of AI systems that work with images, audio, and video.
- Verification and responsibility: deepfakes, project management, bias, fairness, and AI-assisted decisions.
Introductory sections, a learning roadmap, and a glossary help you find your way. Read the lessons in order or return to individual concepts when you need a refresher.
This is not a manual for one product. The aim is to develop habits of questioning and evaluation that remain useful as applications change.
